TOBIAS HILL / MINOLI SALGADO
'This is our destination, / the city of clocks. Block your ears / and you can hear the watches tick / in syncopation with your heart.' The rich and sensuous poetry of Tobias Hill bears all the hallmarks of a travelled and piercingly sensitive mind. Last year he was chosen as one of the twenty Next Generation poets by a panel including Simon Armitage and the Poet Laureate Andrew Motion.
Minoli Salgado's is a fresh and exciting poetic voice which has featured in Wasafiri, an international journal of creative writing. She teaches English at the University of Sussex.
